The Dementia & Alzheimer’s Association of St. Clair County Announces Lynn Wilhelm as Executive Director

The Dementia & Alzheimer’s Association of St. Clair County (DAASCC) is thrilled to announce Lynn Wilhelm as its new Executive Director, effective beginning August 1st, 2023.

Wilhelm, an accomplished leader, brings a wealth of experience to The Dementia & Alzheimer’s Association of St. Clair County. With a proven track record of fostering organizational growth and fundraising, Wilhelm is excited to expand the DAASCC’s reach and help more caregivers and families across St. Clair County.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Lynn as our new Executive Director,” said DAASCC President, Deb Johnson. Her exceptional leadership, fundraising ability, and outreach skills make her a perfect fit for our association. We have great confidence in her ability to educate, support, and offer our resources to caregivers and families living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia across St. Clair County.”

Wilhelm has a proven track record spanning over twenty years working with non-profit and philanthropy groups. Her previous roles include positions with Macomb Charity Connect, the Meadowbrook Theatre, Shelby Community Foundation, and Turning Point, Inc.

The Dementia & Alzheimer’s Association of St. Clair County is composed of key stakeholders from St. County (SCC): Council on Aging, SCC Community Mental Health, SCC Health Department, Visiting Nurse Association, Lakeshore Woods, SCC Sheriff’s Department, Blue Water Publishing, Life Skills Centers, Medical Professionals and representatives of skilled nursing, day care, home care and caregivers.
