The Dementia & Alzheimer’s Association of St. Clair County facilitates and hosts several special events, awards, and fundraisers throughout the year to promote our mission, raise awareness about Alzheimer’s and dementia diseases, and support individuals caring for their loved ones.

Alzheimer’s 5K Run/Walk For The Cure
Join us for the Dementia and Alzheimer’s Association of St. Clair County 5K Run/Walk – “Find the Cure” – on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Kiefer Park near the Port Huron City Building. Proceeds from the event will support local caregivers through the Dementia and Alzheimer’s Association Respite Grant and Educational Speaker Series, as well as contribute to critical research at the Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Center.
The race begins at 9:00 a.m., with race-day registration and shirt pick-up starting at 8:00 a.m. Please note: T-shirts are only guaranteed for participants registered by midnight on September 12, 2025. Early packet pick-up will be available on Friday, September 26, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Elite Feet, 327 Huron Ave.
