This event is designed for everyone involved in caregiving, whether you’re caring for a loved one at home or working in a professional caregiving capacity. Engage in expert-led workshops, connect with reliable vendors, listen to the encouraging words of our guest speaker, Joan Lunden, and acquire practical tools to help you navigate the challenges and rewards of caregiving. This expo is not just an event; it’s an opportunity to enhance your skills, foster community connections, and empower yourself in your caregiving journey. Annual Dementia & Alzheimer’s Association Luncheon and Awards
Marcia Haynes was a great community advocate, and when her husband, Fred, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2006, she became his advocate as well as his primary caregiver until his passing in 2014. Marcia’s passion for supporting dementia and Alzheimer’s research and caring for families and individuals impacted by more loss led her to establishing our association.
This luncheon will honor her vision, while also honoring our local advocates and organizations that share in Marcia’s mission.
